Best. Death Party. Ever.

I wrote a few days ago about Cindy Sheehan preparing to tie herself to a fence once the 2000th soldier in Iraq had died. Well, didn’t go exactly as she planned it would seem. The Political Pitbull has some pictures of lonely Cindy just sitting there playin with her blackberry. Sure doesn’t look like her 2000 deaths party was much of a success…

The hippies in San Fran seem to have had better success, if nothing else they had a good time. Really, go look at them. It looks like the set of a Cheech and Chong movie. Or as Ace puts it, “a tailgate party outside a fucking Phish concert.”

The Indepundit has a link to The Everlasting Phelps, who asks if you can tell the difference between these hippies in San Fran and partying White Sox fans. I sure can’t, there’s something seriously wrong there.

Thanks Basil, Don Surber, The Jawa Report, Mudville Gazette, The Blue State Conservatives, and Stop the ACLU for providing me with much needed linkage. I don’t think I’d see much traffic were it not for those kind people…

Embed-a-Blogger

Bill Roggio of The Fourth Rail has been invited to spend a month in Iraq with the Marines he’s been supporting religiously for the last year.

The Fourth Rail already has some of the best, totally original iraq/war related material. Bill’s taking an “unpaid leave of absence” from his current job to go blog in Iraq. I’m sure he’d gladly accept donations so he doesn’t have to sell a kidney or something when he gets back the U.S. He’s currently planning on leaving in mid-November.

It also sounds like he won’t be blogging via The Fourth Rail once in Iraq. Bill and some buddies are starting a new site that’s “focused on national and international security threats and the U.S. led war on terror.” Should be good, so keep an eye on ThreatsWatch.org for more.

Silly Cindy, Fences are for Sheep

WARNING: Liberal hippie douche bags may be offended by the content that follows in this post. No action whatsoever will be taken against those who choose not to heed the warning. So, whatever.

I guess that title doesn’t make any sense. Or maybe it makes more sense than it does at first glance, Cindy is silly and she’s basically a sheep that follows everyone. Nevermind the thousands of sheep she has following her. She’s half sheep, half shepard. There.

Anyway, back to the fences. Cindy Sheehan is gearing up to tie herself to a fence at the White House. When will she be doing this you ask? Once 2000 american soldiers have lost their lives in Iraq. Seems almost like a celebration rather than a protest or whatever the hell tying yourself to a fence could be classified as.

“Hey everybody! Look at me, I’m tied to a fence! Pay attention to me! yay!” See, I can tell the future, that’s what she’ll be screaming once she’s actually tied. This is straight from the sheeps mouth though, seriously:

“I’m going to go to Washington, D.C. and I’m going to give a speech at the White House, and after I do, I’m going to tie myself to the fence and refuse to leave until they agree to bring our troops home,” Sheehan said in a telephone interview last week as the milestone approached.

Good luck crackhead. Like the United States will risk millions of lives here @ home just to save yours. I hope Cindy Sheehan is allowed to expire on the lawn of the White House. I mean no disrespect to her family or anything, just her. Let’s face it, she’s fighting for the rights and freedoms of those trying to kill us. Without troops in Iraq and elsewhere, we here at home would be target numero uno.

Cindy, please, please for the love of god stop your anti-U.S. propoganda slinging and take a good hard look at who we’re fighting in this war on terror. It’s not the “war on WMD”, it’s the “war on terror”. Shut up about there being no WMD’s in Iraq, because that’s a flat out lie. Just because the ingredients aren’t put together yet doesn’t mean they weren’t intending to make the full batch. I mean shit, I can’t even buy two fucking boxes of sudafed because I could make meth with it. And had I bought two+ boxes a year ago I’d end up on some sort of blacklist which would end up getting my house put under surveillance.

It’s so sweet how you don’t whine and complain about my right to buy two boxes of sudafed being taken away, yet you’ll fight endlessly to let the terrorists roam freely in countries un-willing to stand up to them.

I’ll be the first guy to point out problems in my country. Anyone ever take a gander through the archives (although the links aren’t there, the archives still are)? I was convinced we would be living in a 100% police-state environment within 20 years, not so much the case now. Why? Because I realized this country won’t even be here in 20 years unless we make an effort right now to stop those who want to kill us just because we’re not muslim and because we don’t acknowledge Mohammed. Oh, and Mohammed can suck a nut. If ya see him floatin around there in “the aural world” Cindy, tell him I say what up and he can stop by anytime he needs more nut in his mouth…I’m always willing to lend a helping testicle.

OK, so that’s enough tearing people (and deities) to shreds. Other blogs reporting on the subject (althought not nearly as vulgur) include California Conservative and Blogs for Bush. California Conservative had a link to Ace’s post about crotchless panties. Oddly enough, this does relate to the subject at hand. I think Ace has every reason to be worried, I know I don’t wanna have to gouge my eyes out anytime soon. And, they do make crotchless panties for sheep, correct? I swear to god there was a pair on Insomniac (Dave Attell’s old show). I’ll keep that in mind as a Christmas present for lady Sheehan. The American Atrocities Evidence

Stephen Dupont, an Australian photojournalist, snapped some photos of American soldiers burning the bodies of some Taliban terrorists. Throughout the media, this is being portrayed as evidence of American atrocities in the middle east. Apparently, Mr. Dupont says it was clear the bodies were being burned for sanitary reasons.

I don’t know how I’ve missed this bit of news over the last week, there’s people blogging it all freakin over the place. Almost too much information for me to sort out right now. Anyway, the media is being blamed for spinning this story at least 180 degrees. There’s reports that people within the U.S. military psy-ops divisions burned the bodies in an attempt to lure out other Taliban fighters. There seems to be debate going on as to wether or not burning the bodies for psy-ops purposes was “ethical” I guess.

I really hope that’s not what all the fuss is really about. It’s one of the most effective forms of psy-ops. Saddam used it, the Taliban uses it. When Saddam was into chopping off womens heads, he’d have their heads placed on poles outside their homes for everyone to see. In turn sending the message that your head could be on a pole should you go against his regime.

And remember when the those American contractors were hung from the bridge in Fallujah? Yet another classic example of psy-ops, only it’s not being used by U.S. troops, so it’s OK. That’s basically what this all boils down to I think. It’s OK for everyone else to employ every tactic possible, but when the U.S. does it, it’s evil and we must be taught a lesson.

And that just brings us back to the fundamental problems with Islam and the MSM’s willingness to tear down the United States. Both of which are deep rooted problems that can’t be dealt with without taking extreme actions.

That’s probably it for me on this. Check out what everyone else has to say, it’s probably much more relavent to this story than the generalities I spoke of. Cao and Euphoric Reality have probably the most comprehensive posts:

Saddam Defense Lawyer Kidnapped, Murdered

An attorney representing Awad Hamed al-Bandar, a co-defendant in Saddam’s trial, was kidnapped yesterday and turned up dead today. Probably an effort to put a stop to the trial or something. Could also be some extremists taking justice into their own hands. Could be about anything.

Stop the ACLU has the story.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A defense lawyer in
Saddam Hussein’s mass murder trial has been found dead, his body dumped near a Baghdad mosque with two gunshots to the head, police and a top lawyers union official said Friday.

In other violence, four U.S. service members were killed in two attacks Thursday, the U.S. military said. Three Marines died when a bomb hit their patrol in the village of Nasser wa Salam, 25 miles west of Baghdad, and other American troops clashed with gunmen, killing two insurgents and capturing four, the military said.

Outside The Beltway has a good writeup on the subject.

Saddam on Trial

His trial has begun, and the first part has ended. It will resume on Nov. 28 per Saddams request. In this first round, Saddam pleaded not guilty to murder and torture charges coming from a massacre in 1982.

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The first session of Saddam Hussein’s trial has ended. It will resume on Nov. 28.

Saddam pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges including murder and torture in a 1982 massacre.

Saddam Hussein still insists he is president of Iraq, as trial began on charges that could lead to his execution.

He was in a defiant mood Wednesday.

The toppled Iraqi leader stood and asked the presiding judge: “Who are you? I want to know who you are.” Then he declared himself the president of Iraq.

When the Kurdish judge tried to get Saddam to formally identify himself, Saddam refused. He said: “I do not recognize the body that has authorized you and I don’t recognize this aggression.”

He went on to say: “I do not respond to this so-called court, with all due respect.”

The presiding judge read Saddam’s name, calling him the “former president of Iraq.” But Saddam protested, insisting he still is president.

That’s all fine and dandy. He can claim whatever he wants, everyone living in reality knows it’s not true. You can get some background info on the 1982 massacre over at the Boston Globe.

Brent, over at NewsBusters has a nice piece discussing a lot of Saddam-friendly news reporting coming from the major news networks. I wish they’d just shut up, of course he’s not going to get a fair trial. He murdered thousands of people, he doesn’t deserve a fair trial. He doesn’t even deserve a trial.

Matt from Blogs for Bush wonders if Saddam is ” the Left’s new Mumia.” Michelle Malkin covers pretty much every angle, as expected. UrbanGrounds speaks of loony liberals and their willingness to believe anything anti-america related. Chad Evans (In The Bullpen) has a great overall analysis. Outside The Beltway discusses Saddams little scuffle with the guards. The Political Teen has some video .
