I like TV. I especially like King of the Hill, the Simpsons, South Park, and Family Guy. TVtorrents.tv, a site that indexed a whole bunch of TV episodes has gone offline for good. There’s a message on their home page about the closing. They indicate there’s some sort of legal action being taken against them.
The site has had lots of problems in the past. There were week long periods of downtime due to server issues and domains expiring. I’m sad to see the site go.

It must be a slow news day or something already. I saw this on the news this morning before coming into work. But to find this on the “Top News” section on a site like MyWay is a little odd. It’s stupid really.
This year for the Drake Relays they chose a mascot, I don’t think they’ve done that in past years. They had a contest between 50 or so bulldogs. Tiberius emerged as the big winner. For a bulldog, he’s actually not bad looking, I typically don’t like those animals as they are ugly as hell.

But yah, it must be a really slow news day if this makes it to the top news. It’s starting to cool down again for the relays though. It had been in the 70’s the past few weeks, now it’s in the 50’s and will remain there for the remainder of the week. It just wouldn’t be the same Drake Relays without the cold, rainy weather.

Syria has finally, fully withdrawn from Lebanon after months of international pressure to do so. Syria has had troops in Lebanon for 29 years. Syria initially showed up to assist in Lebanon’s civil war. The civil war ended in 1990 but Syria stuck around, giving Damascus the decisive say in Lebanese politics.
I’m glad Syria decided to fully withdrawl as I didn’t really see much of a point in them being there any longer. Lebanon’s flag kicks ass too, I like that little tree. It looks like it could be tasty…

This guy’s got a pretty neat blog. It makes use of Google Maps to display places of interest. So, now instead of traveling around North America, just hit this page up or try out Google Maps.
Right now on their first page they’ve got a couple craters, a forest fire, and a golf course. It’s interesting and would be good for killing a little bit of time. I don’t have time to kill right now though, must get back to work.

So I finally installed Unreal Tournament 2004 on my Linux box yesterday. I installed on the one that I just put those 933mhz processors in. The game performs very, very well. All the details are set to the highest values. It runs very smooth and looks great. It’s hella addicting too, I couldn’t stop playing lastnight. Too bad I can’t play online.
I downloaded a bunch of patches for it today while at work. I’ll prolly apply them this evening when I get home.

There’s tons of information coming out now about the next gen Xbox console. There may have even been a picture of it leaked. If this really is a pic of the neat little console, I think they did a nice job with it. It’s very sleek and visually appealing. I’d have gone with a black/green theme again, but white/green is OK too. I sure hope Xbox 360 can play original Xbox games…
