The Pirate Bay

0

The Pirate Bay is some bit torrent site based in Sweden. They get a bunch of legal threats via e-mail from various companies and organizations seeking to have their copyrighted materials removed from The Pirate Bay.

The e-mails are hilarious to read. Especially the replies sent by the guys that run The Pirate Bay. I won’t write too much more about this, but you should really checkout their legal threats page. Very funny and entertaining.

Get a fucking life

Oh my god, I don’t know what to do. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston broke up. My life is over.

Seriously though, you’d think the U.S. is falling apart due to their breaking up. Like usual, the news media is putting words in our mouths. Americans are asking “How could they do this to us?”. Americans are being left with a feeling of being dumped.

Excuse me, but I don’t feel that way. I don’t give a flying fuck. I have a feeling most of the nation feels the way I do. News must be slow this month if this is such a huge story.

If you are upset about this, you need to get a fucking life of your own and stop leeching off others. This article about the break-up is the most sickening I’ve seen:

According to them, people are wondering how any relationship will last if Brad’s and Jen’s didn’t. I mean come on, Brad is hot. Jen is hot. They gonna sleep around on eachother. Let’s be real!

That’s much better

The machine that hosts this website is feeling much better. I removed all it’s scsi hard drives that weren’t being used. Also removed a dead 30gb IDE drive that was really loud.

For some reason, I had this shitty, off-brand power supply unit in it. One of the fans was bugging out, making a lot of noise. I happened to have a good Antec power supply in the closet. That Antec psu is much quieter and seems to produce more stable voltages to the motherboard.

I’m going to be needing more storage soon. I’m prolly gonna invest in a 160gb hard drive soon. Also a dvd burner.

Numb

My toes are pretty numb right now. It’s fairly chilly here today…supposed to reach a high of around 11 degrees.

It snowed quite a bit lastnight. I drove Ashleys car to my place lastnight so we could pick my car up. Brad’s dad was clearing our driveway with his snowblower when we got there. My car took a lil bit of work to get started.

When we were leaving, Ashleys car got stuck in my driveway. Her car sucks ass in the snow. There was barely any snow on my driveway, but there was a pretty thick sheet of ice under the snow. Her tires went right down to the ice. Her tires are also really worn down, not good for winter driving. The car is also rear-wheel drive.

My car is about 1000x better in the snow than her car. Her’s is off limits until the snow is cleared off the streets. The city of Nevada is taking their sweet ass time doing that job.

I had to shovel quite a bit this morning to get my car out of Ashleys parking lot. The snow plows piled snow up right behind my car. There was probably 4 foot of snow drifts on both sides of my car. Much shoveling was needed if I was gonna drive to work. I got out without any problems. Some guys were parked next to me, and they couldn’t get their truck out…one was out shoveling @ the same time I was…I should helped them.

What’s this?

I think it’s snow. We’re having the first decent ammount of snowfall in Iowa this year. Supposedly we’re gonna get about 16″ over the next 36 hours.

Ashley’s car sucks ass in the snow. I barely got it out of the parking lot this morning. The snow plows piled a bunch of snow up behind her car. The rear wheels on her car would get out fine, but when it was the front wheels turn, they wouldn’t go. After about 5 minutes of toying I finally got it out.

It’s supposed to keep snowing throughout the day and tonight. Suprisingly almost everyone showed up to work. Even people I was sure wouldn’t show up are here.
