Well, we got the PC’s and server I ordered yesterday. I got my PC and the server all setup yesterday.
I put Slackware Linux on the server. The server is going to be used solely for backups.
I’m gonna be at work tomorrow (Saturday) setting up the other two PC’s. One is going to replace Judy’s PC and the other is going to be for the new lady.
Judy’s PC hasn’t been very stable, so that’s why we’re replacing that system. It’s a Pentium 4 machine, so I’m gonna take it home with me when I’m done. They have no use for it here anymore, and I need a new PC so they’re letting me take it.

I’m testing out a new look for this website. Still trying to decide on the color scheme. I’m not quite sure about the blue in the background.
This style of website is quite common for blogs. I’ve seen it all over the place so I did something similar. The links on the right don’t use the “clicky hand” under Mozilla Firefox like they do in Internet Explorer. I’m still working a few things out. Now that I’ve had the chance to listen to the entire Trance Empire 10 mix by DJ Pi, I can safely say that DJ Pi is the most solid trance dj I’ve ever listened to.
I mean, the guy hasn’t released a mix that I haven’t thouroughly enjoyed. I can’t say that about any other dj. I hope that I can someday listen to Pi’s stuff on di.fm. He needs to submit a mix to di.fm, i guarantee they’d add him to one of their streams.

I recieved DJ Pi’s Trance Empire Volume 10 yesterday. I listened to it for the first time today. It’s another 2 disc set. I love both mixes. DJ Pi never fails to impress me, never. There’s no other dj I can say that about, nada one.
There’s some “other” mixes up for download on djpi.net now. If yall are lookin for something else to listen to before TE10 is officially released, you should download those and give them a listen. I personally enjoyed the Hardstyle Empire Volume 01 mix, it features DJ Daemongel.

I put the list of DJ Doboy and DJ Pi mixes I have back up on the “Trance Sets” page. I made a note at the top explaining that I can’t upload these to anybody right now. I can’t give you an ftp account either. The machine that’s hosting this website is limited for disk space.

I hit 160,000 miles on my car today while driving to the office in Ankeny to get the internet back up there. I thought my car was gonna die around 140,000, but its still goin. I’d be REAL suprised if it makes it to 180,000 miles.
I went to the Ankeny office last Friday also. There was a lightning storm in Ankeny early last week and it fryed the DSL modem. Quest sent us a new one and nobody that was in Ankeny could get it to work. So, like I said, I went there Friday to try to get the internet up, but the replacement modem quest sent us was faulty. It wasn’t giving out address, I think the ethernet ports on the replacement modem were shot.
So, Quest sent us another Friday, and it arrived today. It was a totally different modem, lots newer looking. It worked with no problems. Quest refused to believe that the first replacement was faulty, after 2 hours on the phone with them, I convinced them to send me another modem…I wish the support people would just listen to me, I could school all of em at their stupid jobs.
