DJ Pi contacted me today to let me know he was uploading Trance Empire Volume 7 to my ftp. It turns out that it’s a 2 cd set. A total set length of 152 minutes. Apache web server 2.0.49 has been released. I believe it came out yesterday, that’s the first time I’ve seen it anyway. As usual, I compiled, and installed without any problems. I believe this is mostly a bug fix release. Visit the link below to read the full announcement.

Since PHP 5.0.0 is now at release candidate 1, I decided to give it a try. So, this website is now running on PHP 5.0.0RC1. So far, all the code I’ve written seems to work still, which is very good.

I was gonna mention, but forgot to, that DJ Pi’s Trance Empire Vol. 07 is due out soon. He’s waiting on some artwork to get finished up before it’s released.
I’ve been submitting resumes like crazy, to everyone. I recently had an interview at Donnelley Marketing in Ames. I had my interview with Rachelle, who was my supervisor when I worked at Winning Solutions. She told me they have changed their focus from websites to hardware and networks. She also suggested that I send my resume to them again. Hopefully I hear back from them soon.
There’s a horrible lack of jobs around here that interest me at all. Maybe I’ll go to bar tending school.
This Atkins diet crapola needs to stop. Pepsi now has a mid-carb soda, available this summer. Nobody seems to worry that they’re doing more harm to their bodies than good. I’ve heard of people trying to completely eliminate carbs from their diets. It doesn’t seem like a good idea to completely wipe something as important as sugars from ones diet. Oh well, maybe these stupid people will die off as the result…leaving us with slightly fewer stupid people around. My hopes are high.
