This can’t be a good idea. Won’t this just provide a better means for war-mongering, rich jack-asses to make money off death? Seems odd to me that the DoD was involved with this at it’s inception. This will allow traders to buy and sell contracts on assinations, terrorist attacks, and regime overthrows.
For some reason, this reminds me of something I heard lastnight on TV. I was watching the 10:00 news and there was a story about some robbers or something. The news-anchor noted that law enforcement managed to kill one of the suspects. Doesn’t that just sound like the cops going for blood? I hope the cops leave me alone. At this point in time, I probably won’t tolerate any harassment from the cops very well.

We’re back from moving the office to Chicago. The U-Haul was way overloaded. It ended up taking us about 7 hours to move everything off the truck into the office. We had a freight elevator to use but it was messed up and would wait about 30 seconds to open the door after reaching the destination floor.
I’m definately glad that moving is all over with. My entire body is sore…there was a LOT of very, very heavy stuff.

We’re getting ready to move the office from Des Moines to Chicago. Thursday night we’ll be loading the 24′ U-Haul. Friday morning Jeremy is planning to drive to Chicago in his car for meetings all day. Friday night Josh and I are going to drive the U-Haul to the office in Chicago.
We’ll spend all Saturday and most of Sunday setting up the office. We’ve got to install the raised flooring and get the rack server cabinets put back together and set up. We’ll probably lay some new carpet and shorten one of the counters along one of the walls too.
We’ll go back to Chicago on Dec. 1. At that point we’ll start getting servers set up and work on getting the internet connection working (I think we’re getting one full DS-3 to start off with).

A friend of mine from high school is getting married today (the poor soul). We’re gonna have a big party in the West Des Moines Marriott. The WDM Marriott is one of the nicer ones I’ve ever been in, so it should be fun. Hopefully there’ll be some females my age there…other than the friends of the bride that is, cuz I know all dem already…what good would that do me?
