New stable php released

PHP 4.3.0 stable has been released. Of course, I’ve already installed it on the web server. I’m currently in the process of upgrading MySQL to version 4.0.7-gamma. So here in a few minutes, the latest version of MySQL will also be running.

I got some pretty good stuff for Christmas

For Christmas this year, I recieved a number of useful and fun things. My mother and step-father got me some new towels (that were badly needed) and a sandwich maker. The sandwich maker will be handy because now I’ll be able to make grilled cheese.

I got a new Olympus D-550 Digital Camera from my father and step-mother. It’s pretty nice. It takes really good quality pictures and seems to be pretty easy on batteries. Now to get it to work with Linux…

Kristin got me a pea coat from Gap. It’s a little too big for me though, so I need to exchange it sometime.

Christmas

Christmas is coming soon. I still have to buy presents for quite a few people. I don’t like going Christmas shopping. I would just buy everything online, but I don’t want to use my credit card too much.

For those of you that are interested, here’s my christmas wish-list:
1.) Kenwood KAC-929 Car Amp
2.) 2 MTX Thunder6000 T6124A 12″ Sub

That’s pretty much it. I’d really like to get a better sounding stereo system in my car. I need something that will get good sound from my Kenwood mp3 player.

Artificial Christmas Trees can be purchased year round from Christmas Lights Etc

Just an update

I upgraded to PHP 4.3.0RC4 lastnight. I also upgraded to MySQL 4.0.6-gamma. Everything appears to work like it should, so hopefully there aren’t any problems.

I also finished up my first round of work for ICRE8. Hopefully they’ll have some more work for me to do. I enjoy working for them very much.

Kristin gave me her old lava lamp. It’s pretty neat. I like staring at it…it sits pretty much right in front of me on my desk, so I look at it a lot.

Holiday season

Well, I’m done with school finally. I was actually done last Monday. This next Monday, I’m going up to Wisconsin to visit Dad and Carol. I think I’m coming back on the 26th of December.

I’m all signed up for classes next semester. Next semester should be easy because I’m taking nothing but computer classes. A couple of my classes are even online classes. Hopefully I don’t have any major troubles with my ISP during these classes.

New kernel, new php

Yesterday, I upgraded kernels on nightengale and vectraxw to 2.4.20-ac1. I also upgraded to PHP/4.4.0-dev. So far, everything works still on the website. I figured PHP/4.4.0-dev wouldn’t work at all.

Thanksgiving was good. I went to Mom’s house to eat and stayed there for a few hours then I just came home. Kristin was also down for most of the week.
