I attended the Incubus concert tonight in Ames. Again, I was greatly disappointed. They only played new songs. I heard about one song from the older albums. The crowd was also very disappointing. Don’t waste money going to see Incubus. I got more enjoyment out of watching the opening band (Home Town Hero).
I should be getting my car fixed sometime next week. I’m having it done at Jim’s Auto in Story City, IA. I bought my car from this guy. My car was in a previous wreck, he rebuilt it. Total cost should be around $950. All the parts I’m getting are new and will be painted to match the color of my car.
I think Jim expects my parts to be in by Tuesday. He’s going to paint them and install them for me.
I upgraded kernels on nightengale and vectraxw (the router) to 2.4.20-pre8-ac3 today. The “make modules_install” step doesn’t go to well on nightengale though. It moves the modules around alright, but when it’s done it spits out hundreds of lines of errors. It still works wonderfully though.
I also tried compiling the 2.5 development kernel, but, as expected, that didn’t go over so well.
