Got in a small wreck. Estimated cost to fix my car: $1800.
I have to go to court for it on Sept 18 @ 1:00 pm. I wish I would have just gotten a ticket, but the Iowa legislature doesn’t have any specified fines for accidents like that. Hopefully my fine isn’t too large.

I set up the web cam today. I’ve had it for along time, but never really used it.
Anyway, go to the “Information” section and then to the “Webcam” section. The image is refreshed every 2 minutes. Most of the time you’ll see me sitting there. Sometimes you’ll see Dan sitting behind me. I won’t be on much though because my employer is no longer letting me work from home. And school starts Wednesday.

Kristin, my girlfriend, has moved into her dorm at UNI. She’s living in Bender Hall. There’s no way in hell I could live in a dorm. I wouldn’t have enough room for all my pc’s. Of course I wouldn’t have to pay for electricity if I lived in a dorm.
I was setting up Kristin’s notebook and I think the ethernet adapter is broken. So we had to run to a Best Buy to get a pcmcia ethernet adapter. That worked like a charm.
It’s about a 1hr 20min drive up there from Ames, so it’s not a big deal if I go to see her on weekends. Her roommate (Katie) is nice.

Yesterday was my birthday. It was a pretty good day.
First off, my step mom (Carol), Kyle, and I went to look for a puppy. We found one and decided to bring him home. Dad acted like he wasn’t very excited, but I think he really was. You can see pictures of the puppy at http://www.dive2live.com/.
Then the cable guy came and fixed out internet and tv. They kept screwing us over. They told us we needed to be home all of Friday, then they called and said we had to be home all day Saturday because they weren’t going to come on Friday. It wasn’t good. Needless to say, Dad got very angry with them.
Later in the evening we went to a race at the Jefferson Speedway with Alan. He sponsors a car. The car he sponsors got fisrt and Alan was really excited. The guy barely won, so it was pretty exciting. The driver of the car is really good.
