I’m finally selling some of my unused hardware. I sold my Asus P2B-DS motherboard + 1 PII 400mhz processor for $140 shipped. I also sold a socket 370 celeron 566 for $31. Supposedly I’ve sold a Slot1 PII 350mhz processor, but I haven’t recieved any money from the guy yet, so I’m not sure if he’s really serious about buying from me.
I’ve been going through some of my old stuff. I really need to get rid of a lot of it. I think I want to sell my 30gb IBM 75gxp hdd soon. It’s just sitting here not getting used. It’ll probably just need RMA’ed like my last 75gxp.
My ThermalTake Volcano 7 heatsink and fan came today. Before, my system temp. was around 108f, after adding the Volcano 7, my system temp. is about 86f. A huge difference. I don’t think I’ll have enough room on my motherboard for another one of these when I get another processor. So I imagine I’ll end up getting a ThermalTake Dragon Orb 3…those look sweet!
I upgraded to PHP 4.2.0 tonight. I tried compiling it with Apache 2.0.35, but no go.
I got cvs versions of php to compile with older apache 2.x.x releases, but apparently the compatibility was lost somewhere along the line. That’s OK though because the PHP Group suggests not using php 4.2.0 and apache 2.0.35 in a production environment.
I’ve been on the hunt for a socket 370 PIII 733mhz proc. I haven’t had much luck in fidning one yet. It needs to have an S-Spec number of SL3XY of SL45Z. I might get one from a guy on ebay. Nobody seems to have any on the forums I frequent. So, if you have one of these chips you want to get rid of, let me know and I’ll buy it off you.
